Today im creating a visual effect using glowing lines. To create the effect i am following a tutorial created by ART-D (Glowing Neon Effects).

Since the company hosts an annual craft fair i have put the name in bags.

I wanted to create a ribbon that was bent in the middle and didn’t manage to find a tutorial online that could teach me how to do it in Adobe Illustrator CS3. I will detail how i completed my task. There are probably other ways of doing this, but this is what i did.

I love the designs that henna makes, with all the curls and patterns. As such i have been experimenting with swirls in Adobe Illustrator to try and create the same curls and patterns. I found that there are a few different ways that you can make swirls in Adobe Illustrator some of which i can do and others that did not produce a result that i liked.
