Experimenting with swirls
I love the designs that henna makes, with all the curls and patterns. As such i have been experimenting with swirls in Adobe Illustrator to try and create the same curls and patterns. I found that there are a few different ways that you can make swirls in Adobe Illustrator some of which i can do and others that did not produce a result that i liked.
Using the blend tool and creating two circles one bigger than the other makes a nice effect as can be seen in the pink shapes. The other technique that i liked was using the twirl tool, which creates shapes like dark green one from a single circle.
